Publish on your terms

Own your work, set your rules, and get paid. Create a series, add your documents, and publish editions people can collect and read.

You keep control

Your publishing rules live in your wallet, not on a platform. They are portable across apps and enforced on-chain.

Magnafora helps you set and manage them.

How Magnafora Works

Step 1
Create a Series

Group related works in a series — a simple container for your documents. Use it for a book, a collection, or even one standalone work.

You can edit or add new documents to an existing series any time.

Step 2
Add Documents

Create a canonical document — your source of truth with authorship and version history. You control permissions.

  • • Proof of authorship
  • • Version history
  • • Default all-rights-reserved (you control permissions)
Step 3
Publish Editions

Release editions people can collect and read.

What collectors can do:

  • • Collect and read the work
  • • Resell their edition with automatic royalties you can set
  • • Transfer editions to other wallets
  • • Verifiable authenticity and provenance

What you get

Key benefits
  • • Ownership you control
  • • Portable across apps
  • • Automatic royalties on sales and resales
  • • Programmable permissions (pricing, supply, currency)
Advanced controls
  • • Let trusted partners publish on your behalf (coming soon)
  • • Set per-work royalty rates
  • • Choose pricing in ETH or approved tokens
  • • Enable or disable minting and set edition limits
Understanding Blockchain Contracts vs. Legal Contracts
While you might be familiar with legal contracts in traditional publishing, Magnafora's blockchain contracts work differently. These are not customizable legal documents. A "smart" contract is a piece of software that the blockchain executes to apply preset rules and permissions. Magnafora uses smart contracts to manage edition counts, sales, transfers, and royalty payments.

What You Can Control

  • • Set pricing and currency for editions
  • • Define royalty rates for secondary sales
  • • Set edition limits (limited or unlimited supply)
  • • Turn on/off publishing for specific editions
  • • Control who can publish editions on your behalf

What the Blockchain Enforces

  • • Automatic royalty payments on every sale
  • • Publicly verifiable proof of authorship and on-chain origin
  • • Transparent transaction history
  • • Public verification of authenticity
  • • Platform-independent controls that a single platform can't revoke
Publisher Authorization & Licensing Delegation (coming soon)

As the canonical contract owner, you can authorize trusted publishers, agents, or collaborators to create and distribute editions on your behalf while maintaining ultimate control.

Delegation Capabilities:

  • • Authorize operators per individual work
  • • Delegate publishing permissions to agents or publishers
  • • Authorized operators can create and manage editions
  • • Operators can set pricing and edition limits

You Always Retain:

  • • Control over canonical contracts and works
  • • Ability to revoke operator authorization
  • • Control over royalty rates and recipients
  • • All revenue flows through your settings
Reading access
The blockchain is public; we enforce collect-to-read in the app.

Blockchains are not privacy-protecting systems. Ownership records, metadata, and transactions are always visible to the public. Magnafora builds on this foundation by adding layered access controls in our interface — such as token gating — so that only collectors can read your works here.

On-chain records and rules (authorship, royalties, provenance) are executed by smart contracts. Our UI mirrors your configured permissions with accessibility features that reflect your licensing. While the raw blockchain is open, Magnafora enforces the experience of "collect to read."

Important: Do not put content on-chain that you would not want to be publicly visible. Your contracts protect property and provenance, not privacy.
